Lone,

There is nothing wrong with being scared or intimidated, both of those will make you a better student, and ultimately a better paramedic. In my opinion I would rather see some one like you as a student then someone who is to cookey

some people are just happy bieng a EMT, should we all strive to be medic's?
what happens to the medic who "moves on after seven years"? should they just give up all their certs? If you are content with bieng an EMT and are good at it, then that is cool to.

Sorry ranger, I hope you did not get the impression that every one should be a "Paramedic" I use the term generically because most EMS workers in Canada are "Paramedics" Our terminology here is a little different then other places. We do not have EMT's as such, some provinces are still using the term but for the most part an EMT is a PCP in Canada (Primary Care Paramedic) :|
